new hayesalian Air Force
The Crest of the Air Force depicts the Banner of the Air Force held by a Common Raven, a highly intelligent species that has shown exceptional problem solving and communication skills. The Hayestolian Sun comprises the background, large as it appears in the sky.
Commanding air power and security for New Hayesalia, combat support for other military branches, and general support to the objectives of the New Hayesalian Government, the New Hayesalian Air Force is a critical part of the Military.
Established in it's present form on July 21 , 2009, along with the Navy and Army, the Air Force draws it's roots from the Hayesalian Union Air Command established on April 17, 1906 (renamed to Air Force on April 17, 1914.)
The first force established to be an international force for the Hayesalian Union, the Air Force is a great part of the history of New Hayesalian unity. It has been involved in missions across the world since it's inception, providing everything from air security to deliveries of tricky cargo.
Today the NHAF is a global force with global reach, it's roundel known across the world, respected for it's exceptional quality of performance and delivery of mission success.
The New Hayesalian Air Force uniform is worn as part of daily duties. The uniform is a dark blue colour, worn with a white shirt.
Class 1 Uniform, seen to the left, is worn for ceremonial and important occasions, and on duty for a number of senior Air Force members. Class 2 uniform removes the jacket with either a long sleeve shirt with tie, or short sleeve shirt without.
Unless otherwise entitled, members of the Air Force wear a dark blue beret the same colour as the coat and trousers, with the Air Force Crest.
Members of the Special Operations Air Legion, which is distinct from the Special Forces Legion, wear an Independence Blue Beret with the Air Force Crest.
Members of the Special Forces Legion, after attaining Commando qualification, wear the Black Beret with the Air Force Crest - though specific units wear their unit insignia (such as BASTION or the CBRN Response Unit.)
As is standard across the Military, Military Police wear Scarlet Berets with the Air Force Crest, and members of the Amalgamation Guard wear Teal Berets with the Coat of Arms insignia.
