OTTO 1500 | WAREHOUSING UGV
The OTTO 15OO is a heavy duty self-driving vehicle designed to move pallets, racks, and other large payloads through dynamic production environments. It is used in the New Hayesalian Military to move heavy equipment around warehouses and hangars to increase efficiency throughout these busy environments.
The unmanned vehicle navigates spaces just like a person does, using LIDAR and an information sharing network. It maintains a map of the space in its memory and uses visual reference points to always know its position. No guides, infrastructure, or predefined paths are required.
The OTTO can be loaded by stacking it with pallets, bins, cages or equipment directly. It can be loaded directly by human operators by hand or with lifting equipment, using a conveyor belt interface, or an internal lift system.
The OTTO uses tones and lighting and avoids obstacles to maintain workplace safety. The OTTO automatically finds the most efficient paths and charges itself at installed wall ports on it's own accord.
The OTTO is also used by aviation units at airbases and on ships as a small scale solution to carry equipment for aircraft, such as spare parts and fluids, munitions, and life support equipment. It's low speed, ease of control, and excellent route-finding capacity allow aircraft maintainers to use heavier equipment such as tractors and forklifts for larger jobs with more focus, improving safety and efficiency.
